The Cast
Some personal bloggers have a Cast of Characters page, explaining the nicknames for people in their lives who they write about. I didn’t do that, at first, with this blog, because I tend to refer to people in pretty self-explanatory terms here. (Mom, Dad, Sister, Boss, Mrs. Boss, etc.) But there are a few names I can list here in case anyone wonders who they are.
Tamp / Tampalama: That’s me. I began using the name “Tampalama” in 2008, to comment on some blogs I read and as a username for a forum I belong to. The “Tampa” part is because I live in the Tampa Bay area of Florida, and the “lama” part just sort of rolls off the tongue after the “Tampa” part. (Occasionally, you will see Kerro call me Tramp. That’s a humorous acknowledgement of a typo I made once.)
SS: Why, that is my Someone Special, of course! ♥
Emily: My ten-year-old cat who calls me Mama and with whom I share a mental and often psychic connection.
RB: A good friend of mine. Someone who once knew both of us said it seemed like we shared a brain because we think so much alike at times, finish each other’s sentences, etc. So we decided we must each own half of one brain. ”RB” stands for “Right Brain” because she is left handed. I’m right handed, so I’m “LB”, although I did recently take a test on facebook that said I was right-brain dominant, and I actually am, and technically I’m ambidextrous, but I’m getting off-topic . . .
I will add to this list as other non-obvious names come up.

wow, I was so excited when I logged onto wordpress and I saw ‘2 comments’. Wow!
Anyway, I do not actually have a problem with not getting comments. I just like to think that people read what I write, and for some reason just do not feel like commenting…
Anyway, I appreciate your comments. Thanks!
That’s cool that you are writing a novel set in my birth year. Have you had anything published before?

Hi, I recently found your blog and wanted to reach out. I’m the blog coordinator for EverydayHealth.com. We’re currently recruiting patients and experts to write a weekly blog post about ADD/ADHD and I thought you might be interested.
Everyday Health has over 25 million monthly unique visitors to their website, and there is a lot of potential exposure and traffic to come from blogging with the market leader in online health information. It’s also an excellent platform to promote awareness about ADD/ADHD and any non-profits or other related entities.
Let me know if this is something that you’re interested in and might like to talk more about.
Thanks so much!
